A concerned patron’s report of an individual drinking before getting into a truck led to a DUI arrest on Sophia Street, according to Fredericksburg police.
Officer Froman responded to a local restaurant following the report and located Robert Boutchyard, 59, of Spotsylvania, inside his running vehicle. Police said the officer observed signs of impairment.
Boutchyard was arrested for DUI and transported to the Rappahannock Regional Jail. He was held on a $2,000 bond.
