An already wanted suspect at Rappahannock Regional Jail found himself in deeper trouble Wednesday morning when deputies discovered counterfeit money in his possession.
Deputy A.E. Epps was serving an outstanding warrant on a 55-year-old man when multiple fake $100 bills were found. The bills were seized, and an investigation into their source is ongoing. Authorities are working to determine whether the counterfeit money is linked to any larger criminal activity.
