The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported theft involving a gym locker at OneLife Fitness on Garrisonville Road.
Deputy Ramos responded after a gym member reported that credit cards were missing from a backpack stored inside a locked locker.
According to the report, the victim had placed the backpack in the locker and secured it with a lock.
Later that day, the victim received a fraud alert involving an unauthorized transaction and discovered that the credit cards were missing.
The victim contacted their bank, which canceled the affected cards and began a fraud investigation.
No suspects had been identified at the time of the Sheriff’s Office report.
