Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Dollar General on Garrisonville Road, where a frequent customer engaged in a verbal altercation with store staff. During the exchange, the suspect escalated the situation by claiming she had a firearm and “wasn’t afraid to use it.” Upon investigation, no weapon was found, but the suspect admitted to making the statement to “teach staff a lesson.” Authorities obtained a permitted warrant for disorderly conduct, and the suspect was served accordingly.
