An afternoon at Ross turned chaotic when a recently terminated employee reacted violently to being fired. According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy C.M. Sterne responded to a disturbance at the retail store, where the suspect was found knocking items off shelves, yelling profanities, and physically assaulting the supervisor who had dismissed him. The individual was taken into custody and charged with destruction of property, assault and battery, and disorderly conduct. He was later released on personal recognizance.
