Deputies received a call of a shooting. The caller advised her boyfriend just shot her. Deputies responded to the residence the caller provided only to discover she provided the wrong address. Deputies made contact with the boyfriend and the correct address and discovered no such shooting occurred. Deputy S.M. Eastman located the caller, who advised she made the false claim “out of anger.” The caller was issued a permitted warrant for providing a false police report.
