Sergeant Pinkard responded to a fraud complaint on Sentry Court after a resident reported being targeted in a DoorDash-related scam.
The victim told deputies they received several text messages about a DoorDash delivery, even though they had not used the service for years. After reviewing their bank account, the victim discovered several unauthorized charges had been made on their bank cards.
The victim reported the fraudulent activity to their bank and was provided with a report number and contact information from the responding deputy as the investigation continues.
