A traffic violation on Richmond Highway led to the arrest of a driver on multiple charges.
Deputies observed a vehicle run a red light and conducted a traffic stop. During the encounter, the driver showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking alcohol earlier in the day.
Authorities also determined the driver did not have a valid driver’s license.
Diego Acosta-Ibarra, 31, was charged with driving under the influence, failing to obey a traffic signal and driving without a license.
