Driver Arrested for DUI Following Swerving Complaint on Tanterra Drive

STAFFORD, VA — A 34-year-old Triangle man was arrested after deputies investigated a complaint about a vehicle allegedly swerving across the road on Tanterra Drive.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said the driver displayed signs of impairment, including glassy eyes and the odor of alcohol on his breath.

The driver admitted to consuming alcohol earlier that day. Deputies administered field sobriety tests and obtained a breath sample.

The driver was identified as Salvador Saquic Alvarez, 34, of Triangle. Saquic Alvarez was charged with driving under the influence and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
