Sergeant B.U. Demirci observed a Nissan fail to come to a complete stop and conducted a traffic stop. During their conversation, it was discovered the driver had a suspended license. Deputy C.M. Sterne responded to assist in the inventory search of the vehicle. Suspected controlled substances were located and the driver was detained. He was charged with possession of controlled substances and driving while suspended. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 secured bond.
