Deputy R. Tully located another DUI driver. While traveling Northbound, Deputy Tully observed a van impeding traffic with his extremely low speed while in the left lane. Deputy Tully conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver blamed his less than ideal driving on his GPS; however, the signs of intoxication and open container of alcohol led Deputy Tully to think otherwise. After field sobriety tests, the driver was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while driving, and impeding the flow of traffic. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
