DUI: 300 block of Warrenton Road Fredericksburg, VA

Deputy S.T. Myers was traveling in the area when he observed a Ford traveling Northbound in the Southbound lanes. Due to the obvious traffic trouble, a traffic stop was conducted as Sergeant E.E. West responded to assist. The driver had signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming two Modelos. While he would admit that, he would not admit his real identity and provided a false one. During the DUI investigation, the driver would suddenly state he didn’t understand what was occurring due to his own stutter. Considering that didn’t make any sense, deputies knew he was only prolonging his ride to jail. The driver was charged with driving under the influence, the traffic lane violation, driving without a license, failure to identify himself, providing a false identity to law enforcement, unlawful name change, and identity fraud. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
