A 37-year-old Stafford resident was arrested following a crash on White Pine Circle.
Deputy Trainor responded and reported seeing open alcoholic beverages on the passenger seat and floorboard. The driver allegedly displayed signs of impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol, glassy eyes and slurred speech.
Field sobriety tests were administered, and a breath sample was initially received. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver later refused to provide a blood or breath sample at the Sheriff’s Office, resulting in additional charges.
The driver was identified as Andefenci Addi, 37, of Stafford. Addi was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while operating a motor vehicle and refusal to test.
