Deputy D.S. Jett was traveling in the area when he observed a mud-covered truck stopped in the roadway. Deputy Jett made contact with the driver as Deputy N.J. Amato responded to assist. The driver advised he was working on his truck and it was having “problems.” The only problem noticed was the 20-year-old driver had signs of intoxication. He would admit to consuming beer prior to testing out his truck. He was charged with driving after illegally consuming alcohol and stopping on the highway. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober. 1/25/25 2:01 a.m.
