First Sergeant W.T. Johnson observed a Ford failing to maintain the lane of travel and conducted a traffic stop as Deputy J.E. Cordes responded to assist. The driver had signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming a vinegar and wine mix. Within her vehicle was not only half of her questionable cocktail of choice, open bottles of wine, but a loaded firearm hidden from view. She was charged with driving under the influence, carrying a concealed weapon, and refusal. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $,2500 secured bond.
