A driver on Richmond Highway caught the attention of Deputy W.J. Newton when his Ford F-150 failed to maintain its lane. Upon stopping the vehicle, the deputy discovered signs of intoxication, an open can of Modelo, and a confession from the driver that he had consumed six beers before getting behind the wheel. The driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content above .2 and failure to maintain lane. He is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 secured bond.
