Deputy F. A. Martinez encountered a vehicle stopped in a lane of travel near the northbound I-95 entrance on Warrenton Road. Deputy R. A. Kehoe assisted with the investigation.
The driver displayed signs of impairment and was administered field sobriety tests before being taken into custody. The driver was identified as William Wilson, 60, of Stafford.
Wilson was charged with driving under the influence with an elevated blood alcohol content and stopping in a roadway. He was given an unsecured bond and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
