Sergeant B.U. Demirci observed a driver committing a traffic lane violation and nearly striking another vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver admitted that she would not pass a sobriety test. Records indicated that this was not her first DUI offense. She was charged with a second DUI offense within five to ten years, second offense refusal, and a traffic lane violation. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
