Deputy Holub responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of White Oak Road and Hudson Road on February 19.
Upon arrival, the deputy found a vehicle in a ditch and made contact with the driver. The driver exhibited signs of impairment, including slurred speech, poor balance, and the odor of alcohol. Although the driver denied drinking, further investigation revealed the vehicle’s registration returned as demolished and the displayed tags had been swapped from another vehicle without proper DMV documentation.
After performing field sobriety tests, the driver was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for a breath test, where two deficient samples were provided.
The driver, identified as 29-year-old Princesshamecca Brent of Fredericksburg, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated, expired plates, displaying fictitious plates, and a traffic lane violation. Brent was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on an unsecured bond until sober.
