Deputies responded to a vehicle crash involving a suspected intoxicated driver who rear-ended another vehicle at a red light.
Video footage showed the driver traveling at a high rate of speed before the collision. Upon contact, the driver displayed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and an odor of alcohol. The driver refused both field sobriety and breath tests and later became argumentative with a magistrate.
Daniel Wolf, 41, of Fredericksburg, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, refusal to test, a traffic violation, and failure to provide proof of insurance. He was held without bond.
