A traffic accident led to a DUI arrest after deputies responded to a rear-end collision at the intersection of Hope Road and Richmond Highway. Upon arriving, Deputy J. W. Courtney spoke with the at-fault driver and noted signs of intoxication, including bloodshot, glassy eyes and the strong odor of alcohol.
The driver, identified as Anana Wankenge, 57, of Stafford, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and following too closely. Wankenge was booked at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a secured bond.
