A 22-year-old Spotsylvania resident was arrested for driving under the influence following a crash on Warrenton Road.
Deputy Carey responded after a victim reported that another driver made an illegal U-turn and struck the victim’s vehicle. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect acknowledged making the U-turn, striking the vehicle and consuming alcohol earlier that day.
Following field sobriety testing and a breath sample, the suspect was arrested.
The driver was identified as Cameron Biggs, 22, of Spotsylvania. Biggs was charged with driving under the influence and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
