DUI Arrest on Richmond Highway, Stafford VA

Location: Richmond Highway and Castle Court, Stafford, VA

An early morning DUI stop led to multiple charges and the arrest of a wanted man. Deputy R. Tully noticed a Nissan swerving across two lanes and pulled the driver over. The suspect, who admitted to drinking “10 to 12” Miller Lites before driving, had no valid license and was also wanted for a hit-and-run. He was charged with DUI, driving without a license (second offense), and a traffic lane violation, and was served his outstanding warrant. He is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
