DUI: Brookdale Court Stafford VA

Deputy N.J. Amato responded to a suspicious vehicle report. The caller advised an unfamiliar vehicle had been in the area for the past four hours, occasionally leaving only to return to the exact spot. Deputy Amato made contact with the slumbering driver, who had signs of intoxication. The driver, who advised he was “going through a lot,” admitted to consuming four shots of tequila. A half empty, or half full for the optimists, bottle of tequila was located within the vehicle. The driver was charged with driving under the influence and drinking while driving. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
