Deputy T.R.D. Berry responded to an auto accident. The driver advised he hit something “likely expensive” but was unsure as to what it was. The “expensive” item was discovered to be a mailbox that was not worth much of anything now considering the damages to it. The driver was discovered to have a revoked license, signs of intoxication, and admitted to consuming “a few” Modelos. He was charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content above .2, driving while revoked, and reckless driving. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,000 secured bond.
