First Sergeant M.R. Flick was traveling Northbound on I-95 when he observed a Hyundai traveling 47 MPH. Despite the low speeds, the driver was having a hard time not swerving on the roadway and would travel without headlights on. First Sergeant Flick conducted a traffic stop as Deputy W.E. Trainor responded to assist. The friendly driver had signs of intoxication, admitted to consuming a mixed drink, and was in possession of a firearm that was concealed from view. He was charged with driving under the influence, carrying a concealed weapon, the traffic lane violation, and driving without headlights. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,500 secured bond.
