An 80-year-old Falmouth man was arrested after deputies responded to reports of a person brandishing a firearm on Sandy Ridge Road.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies spoke with those involved and determined the suspect had displayed a firearm during an incident at a residence.
While speaking with the suspect, deputies observed signs of alcohol impairment, including slurred speech, glassy eyes, an unsteady balance, and the odor of alcohol.
Robert Spindle, 80, of Falmouth, was arrested and charged with brandishing a firearm and public intoxication.
