A violent altercation erupted inside the Rappahannock Regional Jail on Wednesday when a fight among inmates left one individual hospitalized with broken bones. Deputy J.L. Jones responded to the incident, where the victim was allegedly attacked by two other inmates. Both suspects now face serious charges, including malicious wounding, assault by mob, and conspiracy to maliciously wound.
