Deputy R.A. Kehoe responded to a phony bank report. The victim advised he received a call from someone posing as Navy Federal Credit Union. The fraudulent credit caller advised there was an issue with the victim’s personal loan. In order to “sort out the loan issue” the caller demanded the victim transfer money into a Cashapp account.
