A fraud investigation is underway on Regiment Lane after a resident reported that someone had opened a Verizon account using their identity. Deputy C. M. Hidalgo responded to the scene. The victim stated they had no knowledge of the account and did not authorize its creation. Authorities are currently looking into how the suspect obtained the victim’s personal information.
