Deputy T.R.D. Berry responded to a fraud complaint in which a woman accused her boyfriend of unlawfully transferring funds from her bank account to himself. Warrants for larceny, identity fraud, and obstruction of justice were issued. Later that evening, Sergeant S.C. Jett attempted to serve the arrest warrants, but the suspect refused to surrender and was ultimately found hiding under a beanbag chair. He was arrested and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
