Deputy C.D. Quebedeaux responded to a pastor imposter. The victim advised he received a text from someone posing as his pastor. The prevaricating pastor advised he was spreading the good word by obtaining gift cards for kids with cancer. While in the process of sending the gift cards, the victim received a text from his real pastor advising someone was using his identity and it was a scam.
