A Fredericksburg man is facing multiple charges following a crash on Pine View Drive that left a passenger injured.
Deputies investigating the crash said the driver showed signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes and the odor of alcohol. Two open alcoholic beverages were reportedly found near the crashed vehicle.
After failing sobriety testing, the suspect was arrested. A later breath test at the Sheriff’s Office indicated the driver’s blood alcohol content was above the legal limit.
The injured passenger was transported to a hospital for treatment. Cristhiam Henriquez, 25, of Fredericksburg, was charged with driving under the influence, maiming as a result of driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and driving without a license. He was held on a secured bond.
