A Fredericksburg man is facing charges after deputies investigated a shoplifting incident at the Target store on South Gateway Drive.
Loss prevention employees reported the suspect failed to scan several items at self-checkout and also switched price tags on merchandise. Staff stopped the suspect before he exited the store.
Surveillance footage confirmed the theft, according to investigators. Wilson Mena Garcia, 24, of Fredericksburg, was charged with concealment and trespassed from the store. He was later released with a court date.
