Police in Fredericksburg are investigating a late-night shooting incident that left property damaged but—so far—no injuries reported.
Around 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, Fredericksburg’s E-911 Center got a call about gunshots in the 900 block of Railroad Avenue. By the time officers arrived, the scene was empty. Whoever was involved had already taken off.
Police found several shell casings scattered across the area. While no one has reported being hurt, there have been multiple reports of property damage.
The investigation is still underway. Detectives are asking for the public’s help, especially from anyone who may have been in the area or has security footage from 9:40 to 11:40 p.m. on July 26.
The Fredericksburg Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
