Reward Offered for Information

The Fredericksburg Police Department announced it is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in any of the three investigations. The amount of the reward will depend on the value and impact of the information provided.

Officials noted that these cases are separate from sexual assault investigations announced in March 2026, for which a suspect is already in custody awaiting trial. Since March, the department has dedicated more than 163 hours of additional patrols along the Canal Path and surrounding areas in an effort to improve public safety. Police are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
