Deputies are investigating a hit-and-run incident after a garbage truck reportedly struck and damaged a mailbox on Bronco Lane.
Deputy Delaney responded to the scene after the homeowner reported the incident. The victim told deputies that a garbage truck hit the mailbox and then left the area without stopping.
Surveillance footage from the property captured the incident and was provided to authorities. The deputy advised the victim that the garbage company would be contacted in an effort to identify the driver involved.
The investigation remains ongoing.
