
Location: 1100 block Fleetwood Court, Fredericksburg VA
Time: 11/16 at approximately 1:20 a.m.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Fredericksburg Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Fleetwood Court. The incident unfolded after a physical altercation occurred outside a residence between Sean Favors and the brother of the reporting party.
According to the investigation, Sean Favors, 31, of Fredericksburg, retreated to his apartment following the altercation and later fired a weapon into a group of four people returning to the apartment complex. The suspect then fled the scene with another individual in a vehicle.
A responding patrol officer successfully located the vehicle, prompting a traffic stop. Two occupants fled on foot, leading Officer DeCilles and K9 Roxy to track and locate one suspect — a juvenile — hiding in a dumpster. The juvenile, related to Favors, was placed in protective custody. Police also recovered a firearm from the vehicle.
Later that same day, Sean Favors was arrested at his apartment without incident. He is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond and is facing multiple charges:
