Deputy S.M. Craig responded to a hit and run. A vehicle traveling Southbound on Richmond Highway went off the roadway, struck a VDOT sign before striking two parked and unoccupied trucks in the dealership parking lot. Speaking of unoccupied, the suspect driver had fled the scene. Using the clues left within the vehicle, deputies were able to identify the driver. Warrants for hit and run, as well as, destruction of property were submitted.
