Deputy R. A. Kehoe responded to a report of an intoxicated driver traveling erratically near Layhill Road and Cambridge Street.
A vehicle matching the description provided was located as it was parking at a residence on Cambridge Street. The driver’s speech was reportedly slurred. After field sobriety testing, the driver was taken into custody.
The driver was identified as Mario Ramirez Pulunto, 34, of Stafford. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a license, and failure to maintain lane. Ramirez Pulunto was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
