A troubling discovery was made when Deputy S.C. Steinway responded to reports of a man lying in the middle of the road. The suspect was found unconscious with an open beer bottle nearby. Upon waking, he admitted to drinking for several hours and showed clear signs of intoxication. He was arrested for public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
