Deputy Buzzard responded to a reckless driving complaint involving two vehicles near Butler Road and Cambridge Street after reports indicated a firearm had been displayed during the confrontation.
Investigators learned the suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at another driver and issued threats during the incident. Dispatchers reportedly overheard the threat while speaking with the victim. Deputies later observed the firearm inside the suspect’s vehicle.
Patrick Sauve, 67, of King George, was charged with brandishing a firearm and released on a court summons.
