A King George man was arrested for public intoxication after deputies encountered him in Stafford early Sunday morning.
Deputies responding to reports of an intoxicated person observed the suspect displaying glassy eyes, slurred speech, and the odor of alcohol. The man admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the day.
After providing a breath sample, Jordan Galloway, 30, of King George, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
