While performing School Resource Officer duties, Deputy R.L. Beasley was informed about a student making verbal threats on a school bus. According to reports, the student not only made threatening statements but also brandished a knife. With assistance from school staff, the weapon was seized. The student now faces criminal complaints for weapon possession on school property and threats to kill. The juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
