Deputy A.W. Sypolt responded to a larceny. Staff advised a female suspect stole food and left in a silver Jeep. Deputy Sypolt located the suspect vehicle on Spruce Lane and observed the described suspect involved. The suspect would provide a false identification in an attempt to avoid her outstanding Stafford County warrants. Her plan failed. Within the vehicle was the stolen food and suspected controlled substances. She was charged with shoplifting, possession of controlled substances, identity theft, and providing a false identification to law enforcement. She was additionally served on her outstanding warrants and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
