Sergeant M.E. Gordon was on scene for an unrelated matter when she observed a Mercedes. This Mercedes was discovered to be stolen out of New York. Using business cameras, Sergeant Gordon discovered the suspect in possession of the stolen vehicle and made contact with her. The suspect advised she was “renting” it from a “friend,” but that was discovered to not be the case. Within the vehicle were fake driver’s licenses. She was charged with receiving stolen goods greater than $1,000 and three counts of possession of a fake driver’s license. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
