“Late-Night Fight at Fredericksburg McDonald’s Ends in Stabbing, Suspect Wanted”

A late-night shift turned violent over the weekend in Fredericksburg, where police say a dispute between coworkers ended in a stabbing.

According to the Fredericksburg Police Department, officers were called just before midnight on Saturday, April 18, to the McDonald’s on Emancipation Highway. What they found was the aftermath of an argument that had spiraled out of control.

Investigators say two employees got into a verbal altercation that quickly became physical. During the fight, one worker allegedly stabbed the other in the shoulder. The suspect ran from the scene before officers arrived.

Police identified the suspect as 25-year-old Dangelo Arroyo Gil of Stafford. He is now wanted for malicious wounding. Officers say he is a light-skinned Hispanic male, about six feet tall, weighing roughly 160 pounds, with curly, afro-style hair. As of now, his whereabouts are unknown.

Despite an initial search of the area, police were not able to locate him. A knife believed to have been used in the assault was recovered at the scene.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, treated, and later released. Authorities say the injuries were not life-threatening.

Police are urging the public not to approach Arroyo Gil if he is seen. Instead, they ask that anyone with information call 911 or contact the Fredericksburg Police Department directly at 540-373-3122.

As investigators continue piecing together what led up to the confrontation, the incident highlights how quickly workplace tensions can escalate—especially in late-night environments where fewer staff and heightened stress can create volatile situations.
