A report of a person sleeping on a curb brought deputies to the Red Roof Inn on Garrisonville Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Edwards made contact with the individual, who displayed signs of intoxication such as glassy eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol.
The man admitted to drinking earlier in the day, and a bottle of alcohol was found on him. He was identified as 46-year-old Kevin Bonner of Stafford and was arrested for public intoxication. Bonner was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
