A 33-year-old Stafford man was arrested after a deputy responding to a suspicious-person report allegedly discovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside a hotel room.
Deputy E. Jones responded to the Red Roof Inn on Garrisonville Road after receiving information that a guest had not checked out on time and had left the room disorderly.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the deputy observed multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia and narcotics in the room. The suspect allegedly admitted that the items belonged to him.
Corey Riffe, 33, of Stafford, was charged with possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober. The narcotics and drug paraphernalia were submitted as evidence.
