A celebration at 6 Bears & A Goat was cut short when an intoxicated man disrupted the Oktoberfest festivities. The man allegedly made inappropriate comments to a female employee, prompting another customer to intervene. What began as a verbal confrontation escalated when a staff member stepped in to de-escalate the situation and was assaulted by the intoxicated patron.
The suspect was arrested and charged with assault and battery, simple assault, and public intoxication. He is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
